How long can I rent a phone for?
You can rent a phone from us for a minimum of 1 week. Longer term phone rentals are also available however we find that the majority of our customers choose to rent a phone from us for 2-3 weeks.
What if I want to return my phone early?
Please contact us via the website to discuss your options. Early return of your rental phone is possible and you will be eligible for a refund minus a charge equal to one quarter of the remaining rental period outstanding.
How about if I need to keep the phone for longer?
Should you wish to hire the phone for longer, please contact us at least 3 working days prior to the expiration of the rental period. As long as payment is made, phones can be rented indefinitely.
Do you charge if the phone comes back later than agreed?
If the delay is due to the carrier, then there is no additional charge. All phones must be returned via Recorded Delivery. The late fee is two times the prorated weekly charge. The additional charge will normally be deducted from the deposit.
How much is postage?
All smartphones are sent out via recorded next day delivery by Hermes at a cost of £6.99.
Where can I have the phone delivered to?
For added security the phone will be delivered to the registered address on your debit/credit card
Returning the phone
When you have finished with your phone, please return in the pre-paid bag to our depot.
How does billing take place?
You will be charged for the full period of the rental plus the deposit and delivery following confirmation of your order.
How are payments made?
Payments are processed via Paypal which is secure.
When does the deposit get released back to me?
Upon receipt of the phone, the handset will go through a check and sign-off report to confirm that it has been received back in good order. If this is the case, then we will refund the deposit on the same day.
How much is the deposit?
This is dependent upon the handset. The deposit amount is shown on the website prior to ordering online.
What happens if the phone is damaged when I receive it?
If the phone is damaged when you receive it or if you are unable to use the phone due to a fault you must contact us within 3 hours of receipt to let us know. If a replacement is available we will send it out to you upon receipt of the damaged phone.
What happens if I damage the phone during the rental?
If there are any significant damages to the phone then you will be liable for the cost of the repair which will be taken out of your deposit. If the phone is damaged beyond repair then you may lose your deposit and be charged the retail value of the phone. If the phone is repairable you will only be charged the actual cost of repairing the phone.
Will I receive a charger?
Yes this is included at no extra cost.
What if I don’t have a sim card?
All packages are provided with a GIFFGAFF SIM card at no extra cost .
